Perfect Timing

He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight, He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him (Eph 1:5-10 NAS95).

As a child of God, you are a testimony to the glory of God’s grace. It is by grace that you have been saved. God has opened your eyes to see truth and to trust in His Son. Without God’s grace, which was lavished on us who believe, we would be as all the rest, blinded by the god of this age (2 Cor 4:4).

We have forgiveness through Christ’s blood. Our forgiveness had to come through Christ’s blood, as all our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isa 64:6).

Oh, what wisdom God has to predestinate our conversion, having loved us from the foundation of the world. How many days did we walk in darkness, not knowing our souls hung over the abyss by a thread?  However, without knowing it, we walked in the divine protection and guidance of our Heavenly Father.

It was at the time of His choosing that He quickened us. And in His good and perfect timing, He will return to complete His glorious plan for the ages.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen (Jud 1:24-25 NAS95).
