  “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (1Pe 1:3-5). The Bible tells us: “. . . do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” (Rom 12:2). It is important to renew your mind and adopt right thinking. Having a clear understanding of your position in Christ is foundational.   “My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” (Psa 62:5-8). In whatever situation you find yourself, learn to trust in God and not your own strength. That is not to say do nothing. Do what is reasonable and suited for the situation, remembering to honor God. But recognize that the Lord is your refuge. Times will come when no clear path is obvious. Don’t panic. Panic often leads to further trouble. Instead, wait. Pray to the Lord for a resolution.  Recognize that these trials are often a test of faith. As James tells us, “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
