Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Eph 1:1-3 NAS95).
Every spiritual blessing belongs to us, specifically those who have been saved by the blood of Christ and who are faithful in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The most important thing to realize is that our blessings are in Christ. Temporal blessings we may or may not have, but our spiritual blessings are always because of our relationship with Christ.
Paul blesses the Father for blessing us in Christ. This should be our attitude. Let thankfulness pour from your lips. Our victory is won in Christ. We must indeed suffer through the trial of this earthly life, but there is laid up in heaven an inheritance that will not fade away (1Pe 1:3-5 NAS95).
If you can believe that, then the pilgrimage of this life is much easier. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens (2Co 5:1 KJV). Amen.
